About Me

“You Can’t Really Know Where You Are Going Until You Know Where You Have Been”
– Maya Angelou
A little bit about myself for those who want to know…
Born in Pakistan Lahore, and migrated at the young age of 4 to Warrington, UK. A small city between Manchester and Liverpool.
My dad was deeply involved in the political scene, and I’ve been surrounded by issues and debates since young. But amidst all that chaos, I found my haven in creativity.
Growing up, I learned to blend reality with dreams, using my imagination to make sense of the world around me. Migration was a big part of my life, and it shaped my perspective in ways I never imagined. It’s like living in a constant tug-of-war between where you come from and where you’re headed.
So, I started pouring all these experiences into my art. Each piece is like a snapshot of my journey, exploring themes of identity, migration, and society. I want people to see the world through my eyes, to feel the emotions behind each brushstroke.
Art for me isn’t just about pretty pictures; it’s about sparking conversations and connecting with others on a deeper level. It’s my way of making sense of this crazy, beautiful world we live in.
I have been fortunate to learn the fundementals of Art including philosophy, history and fine art at Oxford University Ruskin College. Using the vast resources that the university offers I was able to learn my trade of creating narrative art and demonstrate this at many exhibitions in the UK and internationally.
